We are already now producing and exploiting animals in so many ways. But in the future people have lost their own fertility because of unhealthy ways of living. We are now (future) producing animals with certain preferences so we can mate with them and breed our own human-crossovers. Just to keep our "own" species alive. The tshirt print itself shows the embryo between a human and a bird.
